  Serpa es una casa que extrae el máximo disfrute con el mínimo impacto sobre el medio ambiente, creando una arquitectura de delicado contraste, dramática y poderosa, pero a la vez romántica y muy confortable. La secuencia de subir y bajar escalones y niveles, trabaja en armonía con el terreno en pendiente, estableciendo un diálogo fascinante y complementario entre la estructura y su contexto. Inspirado por las maravillas naturales que lo rodea, la reserva de bosque húmedo tropical ¨El Rodeo¨con mas de 2.000 Ha. La casa se ve reducida a su esencia convirtiéndose en servil a la espectacular vista a la ciudad, montañas, volcanes y bosques. 

   Serpa is a house that highlights maximum enjoyment  with minimal impact on the environment, creating a unique architectural style of delicate contrast – dramatic and powerful yet romantic while being comfortable and subtle. The house, with its sequence of ascending and descending steps and levels, works in harmony with the sloping site, establishing a fascinating dialogue of complementarily between the structure and its context. The design and integration of the home onto the land are inspired by the natural wonders surrounding the property, which include almost 5000 acres of conservation land known as “Rodeo.”  The house captures the essence of its majestic surroundings, with the visual focal points of the city, mountains, distant volcanoes and nearby trees which embrace the property.  The privileged setting, views and natural elements change seasonally to maintain the resident in touch with the rhythm of its natural landscape. Serpa has perfectly accomplished the creation of a personal retreat, a space in which to relax, recharge and daydream.
