Bria is a multiple dwelling project envisioning the lowest impact on the ground as a main guideline. As part of a private competition, Bria was challenging in terms of putting together a project on a sloppy terrain plus taking the most advantage of spectacular views to a valley. In order to collaborate with the developers guidelines, the dwellings were located on the most eroded and highest point of the lot. 3 levels of apartments develop down the hill, having the access/street in the third level. This way the building will not obstruct anyone's view from the street and the structure adapts to existing topography conditions. The first level is open floor plan so it can hold recreational areas as pool and gardens, as an opportunity to integrate the green areas into the building. Exposed concrete is the mayor construction material for this project, glass and wood accentuate the architecture. Green roofs are an attraction, this way terraces provide a green recreational area plus providing thermal and acoustics insulation.
